Life-Giving Spring of the Mother of God Russian Orthodox Church

Welcome to our Parish!

Established with the blessing of His Grace, Bishop Peter of Cleveland, we are an English-language mission serving the Bryan/Collge station area, and the academic communities ofTexas A&M University and Blinn College in central Texas. Our parish is in the Diocese of Chicago and the Midwest.

Services are held weekly at 1009 Winter St, Bryan, TX 77803.
Vespers begins every Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m., with confession afterwards. On Sunday, Matins begins at 8:45 a.m., and segues into the Divine Liturgy at around 10:15 a.m. The Divine Liturgy is followed by a common meal and fellowship.

We also offer services for major Church feasts (call for location and service time for weekday services).

Urgent message about COVID-19

From Fr. Cassian 3/26/2020:

Due to shelter in place orders, and public safety concerns, and in an effort to follow both the letter and spirit of Archbishop Peter's recent instructions for serving the Divine Liturgy in a manner that takes public safety concerns seriously (given the small size of our parish temple), we will no longer be serving public liturgies at the Life-Giving Spring. Services will be conducted by myself, the Reader James Cavin, and Matushka Olympia until the restrictions are lifted. Parishioners should contact me individually to discuss when and how they may recieve the Holy Mysteries and make confession.
